Starting from 8th December and until the Epiphany’s Day, Deruta, the ceramics city, will light up to host the many events and the inspiring initiatives created to wait together for Christmas.

The Christmas events will be opened by the lighting of the world biggest ceramics Christmas Tree: a tree whose trunk is completely covered with 19 big cylinders of ceramics, created and painted by local artists, and then decorated with over 250 small ceramics hand-painted balls, an artwork unique in the world.

The festival will go on, always with a Christmas style, with the National Exhibition of Cribs, the Gustaveglie Antonio Memorial, that will be open from 23rd December to 6th January (all days from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 3 to 6 pm).

And lovers of living cribs will appreciate the several representations in the city’s historical centre: 26th, 30th December and 6th January from 5 to 8.30 pm.
