From November 8th kicks off the Jazz Club Perugia season 2019-2020 which is fully starting among some events organized by the Umbria Jazz Foundation, like other festivals: Umbria Jazz, Umbria Jazz Spring and Umbria Jazz Winter.

It takes shape a long musical season that from November to July will propose three festivals and a season with eight concerts, without interruption. This season will also offer to fans a rich and a varied schedule.
The Hotel Sina Brufani, this year too, will be the headquarter of the concerts, except the event scheduled on December 23rd that will be held at the Morlacchi Theatre.
It begins on November 8th with a duo who probably represents the state of the art of its kind: Enrico Rava and Danilo Rea, while on December 9th it will be the turn of Paolo Fresu and Daniele Di Bonaventura.
The two Made in Italy projects will be interspersed on November 22nd with the Charlie Hunter’s trio, whose Umbria Jazz audience was able to enjoy in last festival editions.
Peculiar event will be held on December 23rd because of location and kind of music: at Morlacchi Theatre will take place the gospel by Every Praise & Virginia Union Gospel Choir which will want to whish Merry Christmas to all the town.
Italian Jazz will still play an important part in 2020: on January 7th with the Rosario Bonaccorso quartet, special guest Fabrizio Bosso, on February 14th, with Nico Gori in quartet, will be an opportunity to celebrate an unconventional Valentine’s Day.
Ending on March 20th with a super band composed by Vincent Herring, Piero Odorici, Dave Kikoski, Aldo Zunino and Hank Allen-Barfield, together to celebrate the centenary of Charlie Parker birth.
On April 30th we’ll have International Jazz Day celebrations with the new saxophonist Melissa Aldana quartet, already guest in Umbria Jazz.
Every concert that will be held at the Sina Brufani will be preceded by food and wine dates.
