Piazza Augusto Vera - 05022 Amelia
The chapel of San Rocco rises on Amerina road that from Giove leads to Amelia, and was built around the sixteenth century as an offering to the saint against the plague.
Inside it preserves a cycle of votive paintings attributed to Lorenzo and Bartolomeo Torresani, still partly under dull, with thematic iconographic feature of cycles against the plague.  We should also mention a Foligno school sixteenth century fresco depicting a Crucifixion on the bottom shows the city of Jerusalem. The chapel is now converted into a War Memorial.
