1st day

Arrival at Borgo San Faustino, an ancient estate on the hills of Orvieto close to Monte Peglia. Visit of the estate, farm and ancient cellars, welcome tasting of production wines, Orvieto Classico DOC and IGT in combination with local products. Accommodation in a standard room, dinner and overnight.

2nd day

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Orvieto, a wonderful city perched on a cliff of tufa. Visit to the San Patrizio's Well, an engineering masterpiece created by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger in the 16th century to provide water to the city in the event of a disaster. Continue to the medieval quarter, entrance to the hypogeum rooms of the "Pozzo della Cava", visit of the caves that include Etruscan tombs, cisterns and cellars. Light lunch with tasting of 3 wines, cold cuts, bruschetta, crostini, dry pastries and dessert wine. Walk through the streets of the old town to the Cathedral of Romanesque origin: inside the Chapel of San Brizio you can admire the prestigious frescoes by Luca Signorelli, Benozzo Gozzoli and Beato Angelico. Return to the village, dinner and overnight.

3rd day

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide for speleological excursion to "Pozzi della Piana"*. The excursion begins with a visit to the medieval village of Titignano, which offers a magnificent view of Lake Corbara. Continue to the countryside until the entrance of the vast underground system: through a "natural slide" you will enter a system of caves of tectonic origin for a journey of about 3 hours. At the end of the excursion return to Borgo San Faustino. Entry to the wellness center lasting one hour and the possibility of relaxing treatments. Dinner and overnight.

4th day

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Departure for Valnerina, the narrow gorge of the Nera River. Entrance to the Marmore Falls Park, the highest in Europe, surrounded by lush nature. Trekking along the paths of the park to admire the jump from different angles. Continue to the Piediluco Lake, a basin set among the hills formed by the entrance of the river Velino, which, not far away, meets the Nera river in the famous jump. Lunch overlooking the lake based on local specialties. In the afternoon sightseeing by boat with photo stops.

4 Days

1° giorno

Arrivo al Borgo San Faustino, antica tenuta sulle colline di Orvieto a ridosso del Monte Peglia. Visita della tenuta, dell'azienda agricola e delle antiche cantine, degustazione di benvenuto dei vini di produzione, Orvieto Classico DOC e IGT in abbinamento ai prodotti locali. Sistemazione in camera standard, cena e pernottamento.

2° giorno

Prima colazione in hotel. Partenza per Orvieto, meravigliosa città arroccata su una rupe di tufo. Visita del Pozzo di San Patrizio, capolavoro di ingegneria realizzato da Antonio da Sangallo il Giovane nel XVI secolo per fornire acqua alla città in caso di calamità. Proseguimento per il quartiere medievale, ingresso agli ambienti ipogei del Pozzo della Cava, visita delle grotte che includono tombe Etrusche, cisterne e cantine. Light lunch con degustazione di 3 vini, affettati, bruschette, crostini, pasticceria secca e vino da dessert. Passeggiata per le vie del centro storico fino al Duomo di origine romanica: all'interno della Cappella di San Brizio è possibile ammirare i prestigiosi affreschi di Luca Signorelli, Benozzo Gozzoli e Beato Angelico. Rientro al borgo, cena e pernottamento.

3° giorno

Prima colazione in hotel. Incontro con la guida per escursione speleologica ai Pozzi della Piana*. L'escursione inizia con la visita del borgo medievale di Titignano, che offre un magnifico panorama sul lago di Corbara. Si raggiunge poi attraverso la campagna, l'ingresso del vasto sistema ipogeo: tramite uno "scivolo naturale" si entrerà in un sistema di grotte di origine carsica per un percorso di circa 3 ore. Al termine dell'escursione rientro a Borgo San Faustino. Ingresso al centro benessere della durata di un'ora e possibilità di trattamenti rilassanti. Cena e pernottamento.

4° giorno

Prima colazione in hotel e check-out. Partenza per la Valnerina, la stretta gola del Fiume Nera. Ingresso al Parco Naturale della Cascata delle Marmore, la più alta d'Europa, immersa in una natura rigogliosa. Trekking lungo i sentieri del parco che permettono di ammirare il salto da diverse angolazioni. Proseguimento per il Lago di Piediluco, bacino incastonato tra le colline formato dall'ingresso del fiume Velino che, a poca distanza, incontra nel celebre salto il fiume Nera. Pranzo vista lago a base di specialità locali. Nel pomeriggio giro turistico in battello con stop fotografici.
