The Town Hall, an almost exactly circular building called in old times People Palace, is located in the Town Square.

There is a pearl of rare beauty in Montefalco, which, together with Sagrantino wine, makes this village unique: it is the church of San Francesco built between 1335 and 1338 by the Friars Minor and transformed into a museum in 1990, along with rooms of the adjoining convent.

It's a spectacular example of Renaissance architecture of Bramante. It was built after a miracle that happened right on the bank of the stream Tatarena.

The church is large and bright with a single nave, and has two niches and two high-ceilinged chapels, truss to truss. It's dedicated to the patron saint Sister Marina.
