The festival will be opened by Paolo Fresu who will reread the Cortona's Laudario, a text rooted in the deepest tradition of the popular religiosity in Umbria and central Italy in general. After that there will be the London Community Gospel Choir, Incognito, Piedo Odorici Connection, Chico Freeman Plus+Test, Sammy Miller and The Congregation, the ever-present Funk Off until the closing concert that will see as protagonists Gino Paoli, successful songwriter, and Danilo Rea, excellent pianist, who will give birth to an almost natural duo: not just italian and american jazz, but also gospel, soul and author song.
