From the 7^th to the 18^th June Acquasparta will step back in time with the 18^th edition of the "Renaissance Festival" which re-enacts the celebrations of the Umbrian town for the arrival of the prince Federico Cesi and his wife Artemisia Colonna.

For over ten days Acquasparta will be animated with parades, tastings, shows and several side initiatives, whereas the three districts (Il Ghetto, Porta Vecchia and San Cristoforo) will compete in the traditional four competitions: the Carousel of Lynxes, the Renaissance plate, the Big Goose's Game and the Districts' Theatre.

Waiting for the event, don't miss out on the appointment with "The Court of Federico Cesi", scheduled on Sunday 21^st May, that will allow all visitors to enter Cesi Palace for free as well as to participate in the guided visit of the Palace. The wonderful rooms of the Palace will be crowded with Renaissance figures showing the life at the times of Federico Cesi, thanks to the reconstruction of a typical day at the Court of Federico Cesi based on the document "The condition of Souls".
