From August 29 to September 3 Deruta's districts will battle it out to win the "Jug's Palio". 

The famous ceramic's town will take a step back to the past for six days with historical re-enactments, ancient challenges and performances of past times.

The three districts of Deruta, Piazza, Valle and Borgo, will face each other in three competitions: the "Table's race", the "Table's race by bike" and the most popular "Jugs' Race", where each district's competitors will bring during the race three ceramic jugs containing water (the main element to process ceramic), and painted according to traditional Deruta's decorations.

Besides, each evening it will be possible to taste the typical traditional dishes in the inns of the town's historical center.
