On-site Artefact/ 10 landscapes
On-site Artefact / 10 landscapes is a show archive installed in 10 micro-landscape stations describing a contemporary geography of artistic places characterized by an environmental aspect, from 1962 to nowadays, starting from Umbria.
The exhibition is organized into 10 thematic tables (architecture and art, sculptures in the city, space of the picture, responsible landscape, nomadic landscape, domestic landscape, defence of nature, political landscape, sound landscape, post-landscape) presenting the documents-contributions of 10 Umbrian landscapes, areas of “aesthetic experiences” that experiment the environmental art (Matteotti Terni Village, Spoleto ‘62/’80, The Space of Picture ‘67, Perugia Artwork, Gubbio Sculpture Biennial, Gavina spa, Cancelli Park for the Art, Oreste Trotta Regional Sound Archive, Social and Botanic Garden of St. Peter in Perugia, Casalina Museum of Natural History, Travellers on the Flaminia Road) and 10 parallel “compatible” landscapes widening the scope of their analysis to important Italian and international realities, selected because they present analogies and a common research in the context (Turin Living Art Park, Volterra ’73, Como ‘69, Diogene Turin - Oreste Project - Neon campobase Bologna, Biella City of Art, Util Art Archive, Bolognano '84, Papesse Radio, Flash Art, Black Market International).
During the exhibition there will be also space for study events and performances able to strengthen and animate the different cultural tables.
