On 9 March 2025, the XXIII edition of the Strasimeno, the 58 km Ultramarathon of the Parco del Trasimeno, will be held.
The route, mostly flat, will start and finish in Castiglione del Lago as well as intermediate stages in the municipalities of Tuoro sul Trasimeno, Passignano sul Trasimeno, Magione and Panicale.
The intermediate stages will be:
- 10 km with arrival in Borghetto di Tuoro;
- 21.097 km Half Marathon with finish line in Passignano sul Trasimeno;
- 34 km with finish line in San Feliciano;
- Marathon 42.195 km with finish line in Sant'Arcangelo.
