Pasta, rice, soups, dumplings, polenta and many other agrifood excellences will be protagonists of the new edition of "Italian First Courses", in Foligno from September 29 to October 2. 

Tastings, cultural initiatives, performances and exhibitions are waiting for you along the historical center's squares, alleys and palaces, starting from "Villages of Taste": beyond 100 recipes of First Courses along a path winding its way through Foligno's streets.

The Festival's 18th edition, devoted to a public of gourmet and enthusiasts, will see as protagonists a parterre of Starred Chefs such as Gianfranco Vissani, Gennaro Esposito, Mauro Uliassi, Emanuele Mazzella and Riccardo Agostini, who will offer unique and original dishes, product of their imagination and experience.

Together with stars there will also be many other celebrities, among which the food blogger Sonia Peronaci, Anna Moroni, Mara Venier, Antonella Elia, Teo Teocoli, Vittorio Sgarbi and many other ones.   

The 2016 innovation will be "Foligno: ancient and contemporary city to discover": a circuit of museums and oratories to know the Quintana Town and its treasures, from Trinci Palace to Nunziatella Oratory, from Misericordia's Oratory to Crucifix's Oratory, through St. Marguerite's Church and the Cosmic Magnet. 

The rich schedule will also be completed by initiatives for kids, the "Half Marathon of First Courses", presentations of food and wine literature ("Books of taste"), guided tastings of Food experience, the format "Lunch with stars" and all the entertainment offered by the big performance of "Italian First courses' show".
