"Shadows, Half-lights and shapes"

Villa Magherini Graziani in Celalba di San Giustino opens its doors to the art with the important exhibition "Shadows, Half-lights and shapes", project curated by the art director Mariagrazia Ricci and seeing the presence of four artists: three photographers:  Maurizio Rossi, Nico Vigenti, Claudio Bianconi and a Korean sculptor: Hisu Choi.

The exhibition gathers different perspectives about light, variations between solids and voids, in the art and the sculpture.

Each of the authors in the exhibition offers an exhibit itinerary marking a style able to renew the language of shapes and picture. The photographer Maurizio Rossi offers an interpretation of photography that embeds and links oneirism and surrealism with the technique. The "narrated" photography of Nico Vigenti, actor, theatrical director and artist, is imbued with visions and poetics as well.

Claudio Bianconi offers an unusual viewpoint on some symbolic places of Umbria with the help of the infrared rays technique. The art of the Korean artist Hisu Chois is, as explained by curators, immersed in the visionary tridimensionality and softly smoothed of every possible matter's corner or angularity. The exhibition takes place in the splendid Villa Magherini Graziani in Celalba di San Giustino, planned in the first years of 1600 by the architect Antonio Cantagallina. The exhibition will be opened until the 28th August with public opening during weekends (Saturday, Sunday and festivities) with the following times: 10 am – 1 pm/ 3.30 pm – 6.30 pm.
