An itinerary aimed at enhancing an active holiday along the Tiber River from Città di Castello to Perugia.

An ideal holiday for those who want to cycle with friends or family in total freedom, without the constraint of fixed dates or the pre-established rhythms of guided tours, but in any case, with the necessary information to enjoy the holiday in total tranquillity.

We will provide you with detailed information, and on request, possibly road book and GPS tracks of the route, we will book the accommodation facilities, but otherwise you can organize the day in total autonomy and freedom.

Day 1

Independent arrival in Umbria in Città di Castello in the early afternoon. Accommodation at the property. Afternoon visit of the Burri Museum and in particular of the new exhibition inaugurated in 2022.Return to the structure for dinner and overnight

Day 2

After breakfast, delivery of the bikes to the structure and departure for the Tiber Cycle Path, a cycling route that connects Città di Castello to Perugia and develops along the banks of the River Tiber.The first 30 km will be covered almost constantly along the Tiber which shows extraordinarily transparent waters in every season, surrounded by luxuriant vegetation, until you reach Umbertide.

Day 3

After breakfast, before leaving for your destination, you will visit the Grifani Donati printing house, an excellence of the city. The Typography, born in 1799, the only one of such ancient companies to still be active today, has become in recent years the obligatory point of reference for the process of cultural enhancement of the typographic heritage in Città di Castello
