The appointment with “Cellars in the Centre”, the event devoted to the Umbrian wine excellencies, is taking place for the third consecutive year from the 8th to the 10th September in Perugia. 

For three days the town is going to host market exhibitions, guided tastings and many other initiatives linked to the wine world, with the presence of about 20 exhibitors.

News of this year will be the open air lounge to taste wines and local products, as well as three corners to sip still, sparkling or brut white wine-based drinks.

As in the previous editions, there will also be “Cartoons and cellars”, the exhibition of humorous cartoons devoted to wine, and “Walking among wine and water”, a guided visit among the Perugia’s monuments.

The event will be opened by the round table on the Sangiovese, one of the most important and popular Italian vine variety, whereas the closing will see as protagonists the passito wines of the region’s wineries.
