On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September 2024, ‘Umbria Historica’, the largest event in central Italy promoting historical pageants, will be held in Perugia at Città della Domenica.
The event will be a great opportunity to immerse oneself in history, to get to know the traditions and crafts of times gone by, thanks to the participation of more than 50 re-enactment groups from Umbria and all over Italy.
There will be encampments, processions in historical costumes, fights, displays of skills and live demonstrations that will bring evocative atmospheres back to life. 
A Trade Fair Area will be set up with excellent craftsmen who will produce artefacts using techniques and tools of the relevant era, retailers of high quality products related to historical re-enactments. All this combined with educational demonstrations by the exhibitors.
In addition, there will be a Performance Space, where archers, crossbowmen, flag-wavers, musicians and belligerents will be present. The performances will be available to visitors in the dedicated spaces with the opportunity to try their hand at such activities.
There will also be Re-enactment Spaces, dedicated to the promotion of Historical Re-enactments from all over Italy.
In addition to this, it will be possible to taste, within the Food Areas, ancient flavours cooked directly by some of the taverns of the Umbrian historical re-enactments and typical products from the various regions.
At the end of the event, the second edition of the Corteo dei Cortei will be held.
