The Days of Roses
Live the magic atmosphere of Villa Fidelia, by immersing yourself into the colours and perfumes of “The Days of Roses”, that will return from 8th to 10th June with its sixth edition.
The 2018 topic is “Rose as the muse of all arts” and the guest nation is Ireland, with its roses, poets, painters, sculptors and musicians.
The historical garden will host, as always, the market exhibition of artistic craft, conferences, concerts and laboratories: more than 100 exhibitors coming from all over Italy and abroad are going to fill the park with their creations among many roses.
“Extraordinary smell – trilogy of perfume in three acts” is the title of the exhibition that will be managed by the National Academy of Perfume: an olfactory journey where perfume will be the protagonist as an elixir evoking memories, people and places that are far away in space and time and evidences changes in the society.
Furthermore, there will be, as always, the Contests, particularly those of Poetry entitled “Fragrances of Rose”, those of Design of small roses’ gardens entitled “Rose gardens of Italy” and “A rose on the head”, the most glamourous one, devoted to the “flourished” visitors.
