On Sunday 27th of May live the unique atmosphere of the "Crossbow Palio", the very ancient challenge between crossbowmen of Gubbio and San Sepolcro.

The tradition is rooted in the 15th century and sees two opposing cities in an exciting race.

The tension is interrupted only by the noise of arrows thrown by crossbowmen in the attempt of hitting the center of a target located at a distance of 36 meters.

With a jump back in time, among the historical parades and the performances of twirlers, don't miss out the occasion of plunging yourself in the magic of ancient carousels.

The Crossbow Palio is coming back in San Sepolcro on the second Sunday of September.
