It has its roots in the Middle Ages and is one of the oldest horse fairs in Italy: it is the National Horse Exhibition that will take place in Città di Castello on 8^th and 9^th September.

The event, born in 1032 in honour of St. Florido, offers also for 2018 a rich programme of events and initiatives inspired by the horse tradition and the culture of the territory.

A few examples?

The equestrian shows signed by Nico Belloni, with the artists of the prestigious world tours "Apassionata" and "Cavalluna"; the Umbrian regional Endurance championship valid for the 2018 Fise Regional Cup, which will pay tribute to Umbria, holder of the title, and to the national leaders of the discipline with its standard bearers; and the competitions of sports attacks under the aegis of the Regional Committee “Fise Umbria”. Great attention will also be paid to children, with the baptism of the pony in the name of the innovative Feel method.
