From 12th April to 15th June 2025, THEPOSITO Art Space in Narni Scalo presents Melancholia, a solo exhibition by Chiara Fantaccione, curated by Valentina Muzi.

Through a seductive aesthetic, the artist explores contemporary melancholy, projecting it onto idealised landscapes imbued with human emotion. Nature and technology engage in a suspended dialogue between beauty and disillusionment, where digital failure becomes a symbol of broken connection.

In line with Geert Lovink’s reflections in Sad by Design, Melancholia investigates a widespread and collective feeling, born in a hyperconnected society that paradoxically leads to isolation.
