Italy’s Ciliegiolo
“Italy’s Ciliegiolo” will return in Narni after the success of previous editions: on 19th and 20th May two days will be entirely devoted to one of the most historical grape varieties of the territory.
That weekend will have as protagonists wines coming from the different territories hosting this grape variety, produced with different styles and methods, but only from a single-crop vineyard.
At the Priori Palace it will be possible to participate in tastings and seminars, with the participation of enthusiasts, journalists and field operators, so to be able to discover the differences among wines obtained in different locations, with different climates, lands and productive ideas but from a single vineyard: the ciliegiolo.
During the festival broad space will be also given to a faithful companion of wine, food: thanks to the collaboration with the Southern Umbria’s Slow Food, it will be possible to taste some “Presidi”, Italian little and rare agricultural as well as food creations.
