From 1 August to 6 September 2025, Spello hosts the 46th edition of Incontri per le Strade, a festival that brings music, cinema, theatre, literature and visual arts to life across the town. Squares, historic locations and iconic sites such as Villa Fidelia, Belvedere dei Cappuccini, Piazzetta delle Logge and the Torri di Properzio become the backdrop for daily events open to all.

Over fifty events are scheduled, created in collaboration with local associations. The programme opens on 1 August with journalist Riccardo Cucchi and continues with concerts, readings and performances. Highlights include the Festival Federico Cesi, Green Music Festival and Cambio Festival, featuring artists such as Trio ROX and Matteo Chimenti.

A major new feature is the open-air cinema (3–9 August) in the courtyard of the former Collegio Vitale Rosi, with a film showing every night. Art exhibitions also take centre stage, from “Stati d’Arte” at Villa Fidelia to solo shows by Mauro Ottaviani and Bargagna, along with the participatory project “PROCESS” by Barbara Crawford.

At the Villa dei Mosaici, visitors can enjoy guided tours and an anniversary event on 6 September marking twenty years since its discovery. Not to be missed are the Roman re-enactment Hispellum (17–24 August) and the award ceremony for the “Finestre, balconi e vicoli fioriti” contest on 12 August, celebrating the community’s care for Spello’s beauty.
