The 20th edition of the Hermans Festival, one of the most prestigious Umbrian musical events with the aim of raising awareness and bringing the public closer to ancient music, will be held from 17 August to 1 September 2024 in Montefranco, Ferentillo, Torreorsina (Terni) and Arrone, offering five concerts.
On Thursday 29 August, at 9 p.m. in Ferentillo, there will be a concert by the Accademia Hermans, with a musical offering of ‘Johann Sebastian Bach - Das Musikalische Opfer BWV 1079’.
On Friday 30 August, at 9 p.m., again in Ferentillo, the Trio Andrea Palladio will perform ‘La sonata in Trio dell'Europa Barocca’.
On Saturday 31 August, at 9 p.m. in Torreorsina, at the Church of S. Antonio, the Collegium Musicum Classense will bring to the stage Italian violinism in London in the first half of the 18th century with ‘A Weekly Consort of Musick’.
Finally, on Sunday 1 September, at 9 pm, in Arrone, Valeria Losito and the Soloists of the Sicilian Baroque Orchestra will perform ‘Seicento Italiano’.
