The Festival of the Network, the event on everything that is communication in the world wide web, and the coveted Macchianera Internet Awards are going to take place from 9th to 11th November.

"The web you deserve": this is the motto of the Festival of the Network, which chose Perugia to host its 12th edition and the 2018 Macchianera Internet Awards for the best sites, blogs and personalities of the Italian web, selected precisely by users.

The three-day event will deal with everything related to the network, without forgetting the most current issues, such as the right to privacy, the presence of personal data that become public - and marketable - on the net, the fake news, bullying, digital identity, artificial intelligence, the digital revolution in Italy.

Guests of the Network's Festival will be personalities from the worlds of culture, entertainment, food and travel, in a series of events that will take place between the Notari Hall and the Pavone Theatre.

Piazza Matteotti is going to host original trucks to form a "Food Arena", dedicated to Umbrian gastronomy.
