Perugia, from 25 to 27 September 2025, will host the second edition of Eco Sanfra, the cultural and educational event dedicated to economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The event aims to provide a space for reflection and dialogue on issues related to the protection of the planet and the building of a fairer future, drawing inspiration from the teachings of The Canticle of the Creatures by Saint Francis of Assisi, considered one of the earliest examples of ecological thought. This edition will be entirely dedicated to the theme “Brother Sun”, with a focus on solar energy as a primary and irreplaceable source of life on Earth. Over the three days, within the ancient walls of the Auditorium of San Francesco al Prato, meetings, dialogues, and educational sessions will alternate, offering the public insights into the conscious use of resources, the relationship between communities and the environment, and the challenges of ecological transition. The initiative aims to promote a culture of responsibility and sustainability, with particular attention to intergenerational dialogue and the sharing of good practices in line with the goals of the 2030 Agenda. Eco Sanfra reaffirms itself as an opportunity for open discussion, where the city of Perugia becomes a reference point for participatory debate on environmental and economic issues linked to respect for nature and collective well-being.
