From 25 August to 3 September, the Agosto Settembre Gualdese will be held, an event that will bring a mix of culture, taste and tradition, animating the alleys and squares of Gualdo Cattaneo, thanks to itinerant shows, medieval games, musicians and challenges in which the town's Contrade will participate: Contrada del Monte, Contrada della Pieve and Contrada della Rocca.
The Contrade will compete in various challenges, including the scenic preparation of the 'Chariot' and the awaited climbing.
Of great importance is the Historical Procession during which the Contrade figurants, illustrious personages, musicians, dancers and jesters will parade in order to offer an incredible and exciting spectacle.
It will also be possible to savour delicious traditional local dishes and taste local wines.
