Agosto Corcianese 2025
From August 13 to 17, the medieval village of Corciano will host the 61st edition of the Agosto Corcianese. The festival offers a programme that weaves together historical re-enactments, international music and educational events, transforming the historic centre into a lively setting where tradition meets modernity.
The event will be preceded, from August 6 to 10, by a series entirely dedicated to band music, with masterclasses, open rehearsals and evening concerts in Piazza Coragino. From August 13, the village will relive the atmosphere of past eras, with costumed parades, theatrical performances, and shows by minstrels, archers and dancers. Highlights include the Serenades of Minstrels, Carmina Burana (August 16), the Ceremony of the Light (August 14), the Archers’ Contest (August 15) and the Gonfalone Procession.
The music programme will feature artists such as saxophonist Cristiano Arcelli and singer-songwriter Elena Ledda. During the festival, the “L’Umbria del Cuore” award will be presented to journalist Igor Righetti and Gino Sirci, president of Sir Safety Perugia, represented by middle blocker Sebastian Solè.
As every year, the Taverna del Duca will serve traditional Umbrian dishes in a Renaissance setting, while the “Corciano Festival” web app will allow visitors to consult the programme, menu and village map in real time.
