4 Days

We propose a 4 day, 3 night stay, as follows:

1° Giorno

Arrive late morning in Todi. Lunch with tastings of local wines. In the afternoon, stroll around the historic centre of the world’s most liveable town. While continuing to the hotel, we suggest visiting one of Deruta’s traditional ceramics studios. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, morning visit to the historic centre of Perugia. Stop during your stroll along in the main street of the town, among the main monuments, for a chocolate tasting in one of the artisan chocolatiers in the historic centre. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon we move to Torgiano, home of the Lungarotti winery. Here you will visit the Wine Museum and enjoy a wine tasting. At the end of the visit we suggest continuing Bettona, the only Etruscan city on the left bank of the Tiber, whose historical centre is perfectly enclosed by the walls. Walk through the village. Your dinner will be at a local farm to taste the local cuisine combined with wines and extra virgin olive oil. Return to the hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, the morning is dedicated to the town of St. Francis, Assisi. Starting from the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli which encloses the Porziuncola (a modest chapel considered the birthplace of the Franciscan order, and where St. Francis died), we climb up to the Franciscan town. Lunch in Osteria del Gusto. In the afternoon, we move to Spello, known to the Romans as the most splendid town of Julia. Today Spello is world famous for the “infiorate”, street “paintings” made with flower petals to mark the Catholic holiday of Corpus Domini. After our walk we continue to a winery for a wine tasting. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
