On the 30th April Umbria is going to celebrate the International Jazz Day too: a day rich in appointments, not just musical ones. The event is going to start in the morning with the Assisi - Perugia cycling itinerary, accompanied by solos of the trumpeter Luca Aquino, in order to support the #UNITE4HERITAGE Unesco campaign, launched to protect the historical and artistic heritage.
The departure is scheduled at 9.30 am from the Assisi's fortress, followed by a stop at the St. Francis' Basilica, to then continue towards the St. Francis' Wood. The itinerary is going to unwind through Campiglione, Ospedalicchio, Collestrada, Ponte San Giovanni, Via Assisana (Piscille), Via Roma, Viale Indipendenza, Corso Vannucci, up to Piazza IV November in Perugia at 12.30 pm. Several are the scheduled concerts at the Music's Conservatory "Francesco Morlacchi", to finish in style at 9 pm with a performance by Tony Momrelle, a prominent exponent of the musical scene in London. The concert will be free and will take place in Piazza IV Novembre or, in the case of bad weather, in the Notari Hall.
