The Museum "La Castellina" in Norcia hosts "L'anima che perse la memoria" ("The soul who lost his memory"), the Carlo Dell'Amico exhibition. It is placed in the sixteen-century court of Vignola, among the roman archeological artifacts, the medieval and renaissance artworks of the Massenzi collection.

The exhibition, which can be visited from the 16th April until the 5th June, collects the works of the artist made between 1988 and 2016, through a path in which the classical tools of the history of ancestral communication relive the formal and conceptual codes, both inside and outside their own space.

The intervention of Carlo Dell'Amico offers the possibility to experiment the deep sense of Norcia, guardian town of San Benedetto spiritual testament, whose rule is still at the base of western monasticism.

The catalogue of the exhibition will be presented at the museum on the 14th May at 6 pm.

Carlo Dell'Amico

Born in Perugia in 1954, he started very early to use the elements and signs that he took from the Etruscan areas since the first seventies.

From 1995 to 2000 a reflection on the nature of things and of the human being starts a new chapter of his knowledge, with the digital processing of pictures and with his photographic works.

In the last years, the artist showed a particular interest towards the sculpture, beyond the narration.
