The summer appointment bringing classical music in some of the most inspiring spaces of the Umbrian main town is coming back from the 21st of July to the 15th August: it’s the Perugia Music Festival, now in its 12th edition. 

From the Hall of Notari to the Basilica of St.

Peter through the Pavone Theatre, the Penna Palace and the Cloister of St. Laurence: these and other places will host about 200 young talents and 50 masters (such as Ilana Vered, Paul Badura-Skoda, Eva Mei and Jerome Lowenthal) for a total of almost 200 events among masterclasses, recitals, concerts with orchestra, musical marathons and opera arias.

Furthermore, a series of concerts and recitals of 11 “genial” pianists grown up with the festival and who have already been awarded important prizes, particularly Nathan Lee, ‘small Mozart’ of the Perugia Music Fest, and Maxim Lando, is devoted to young people.
