Olea Mevaniae 2025

In Bevagna, on 1 and 2 November 2025, the event Olea Mevaniae returns to celebrate the new olive oil and the excellence of the local area with a rich programme of activities combining taste, culture and nature. Over two days, visitors can enjoy an immersive experience through the mills and the historic streets of the town, featuring guided tastings, tours, live music, workshops and olive grove walks.

At the heart of the event, Piazza Filippo Silvestri and the Logge del Mercato Coperto will host Bevagna di Eccellenze, a market showcasing typical food, wine and craft products. The official opening, “Un filo d’olio”, will present the participating mills and local producers.

The Civic Museum of Palazzo Lepri will feature “L’olio nella storia”, a guided tour exploring the ancient origins of the “green gold”, followed by a tasting session. Nature lovers can join the trekking among the olive trees, a circular route combining scenic beauty and local flavours, ending with a tasting in Piazza Silvestri.

Children can take part in “Dolci Mani”, a hands-on workshop discovering traditional sweets made with olive oil. There will also be live music performances, including “Io sono Ventura” and “Olio sur Lume”.

Throughout the weekend, the Olea Tours offer the chance to visit the participating olive mills by bus or bike, to discover the olive oil making process and enjoy tastings directly at the mill.

The event is completed by visits to Bevagna’s museum circuit and Medieval Crafts, offering an authentic experience that combines art, history and tradition.
