In the Trenches. The people of Todi and the Great War

"In Trincea. I tuderti e la grande guerra: testimonianze, immagini, documenti, ricordi" ( "In the Trenches. The people of Todi and the Great War: testimonies, images, documents, memories") is the name of the exhibition set up in the thirteenth century Sala delle Pietre in the Palazzi comunali of Todi, on the occasion of the Centenary of the First World War.

The exhibition brings together moments connected to both institutional and daily life, experienced by the families and soldiers from Todi between 1915 and 1918.

The documents come from the Historical Archives and the public library, whilst the photographs, mementos and letters have been lent by private individuals to recount the conflict through direct and indirect recollections from the inhabitants of Todi and the surrounding area.

The exhibition, dedicated to the 385 fallen and all of the soldiers who left from the Municipality of Todi, can be visited until the 30th January 2016 from 10-12.30/15-18.
