15-17 April 2016

Fantacity, the festival dedicated to children and youngsters from all over Italy, is back. From the 15th to the 17th April, the 2016 edition is in Perugia bringing with it imagination, creativity and inspiration by the bucket-load.

Established in 2007, the Festival has grown over the years, involving more than 4000 schools, hundreds of speakers and guests, including prominent figures in the arts and the world of entertainment. It has organised a great many free activities, with more than 600 000 people taking part since it began.

This year's programme is, as usual, packed full with events in the streets and locations throughout Perugia's historic town centre, to intrigue and entertain both old and young.  Topics of discussion will include art, literature, philosophy, drama, astronomy as well as fashion, crafts and cooking. There will also be workshops, games and shows to enjoy.

Lastly, there is the competition "Forse oggi la scampo", created by Maria Cristina Ceccarelli for primary and lower secondary schools, which will culminate with a prize-giving ceremony for the winners in the Sala del Consiglio at Palazzo dei Priori.
