2018: the year of Big Exhibitions

Art is the essence of Umbria: great artists such as the PeruginoGiottoCimabueNicola PisanoArnolfo di Cambio left their unmistakeable mark in town such as Perugia, AssisiOrvieto.

Each corner of the region preserves the artistic testimony of a fascinating past: 2018 pays tribute to Umbria as land of art and culture with a series of important appointments of exceptional cultural value.

From North to South, the Italian Green Heart will host exhibitions and side initiatives that will tell the valuable heritage of the region, by welcoming artworks and treasures coming from the national territory as well.

2018 will give 365 days of great Art: from the celebrations for 100 years of the Umbria National Gallery, through beyond 60 artworks on display among Montefalco, Spoleto, Trevi and Scheggino devoted to the Masterpieces of 1300, until the Gubbio treasures between the end of 1200 and the first decades of 1300.
